Crocosaurus Cove

Located in the heart of Darwin City, Crocosaurus Cove is home to the world’s largest display of Australian reptiles, including the iconic saltwater crocodile.

Discover each of Crocosaurus Cove's 9 interactive shows daily, and learn all about Australia's incredible wildlife. Watch a huge saltie dine on his lunch during the Big Croc Feed Show, cuddle a snake or lizard during the Meet the Reptiles Show, and feed a feisty juvenile croc from the Fishing for Crocs platform. Then, capture a family photo with Fluffy the baby croc, or go for a dip in the Swim with the Crocs pool.

Crocosaurus Cove is also home to the famous Cage of Death, Australia’s only crocodile dive. Swim with one of the largest saltwater crocs in the world, and marvel at his prehistoric features and mesmerising gaze. This is a truly up close and personal experience that must be done.

    Get to know Fluffy the baby croc, gain express entry to Fishing for Crocs, and take part in an exclusive in-depth tour of our Reptile House. This is an excellent behind-the-scenes tour, perfect for every reptile enthusiast.

    Cage of Death

    One of those bucket list experiences, the Cage of Death brings swimmers up close and personal with our 5m+ adult saltwater crocodiles. Marvel at their prehistoric features and mesmerising gaze as you are lowered right in to the crocodile’s enclosure via an overhead monorail, and spend 15 minutes alongside them.


    Regular feeding by our handlers while you are inside the cage ensures the ultimate heart-pumping experience.


    There are 12 slots available every day, but book ahead to avoid disappointment.

    Tropical Nights at Crocosaurus Cove

    Crocosaurus Cove, located in the heart of Darwin City, will be showcasing a unique night time experience to celebrate the Tropical Light installation between November 2019 and April 2020.


    Enjoy entertainment by The Burning Circus and meet the famous reptiles of the Top End.
