Embark on a memorable journey through the West MacDonnell Ranges, where natural beauty and cultural heritage blend seamlessly.

Our adventure begins at Simpsons Gap, a site rich in Aboriginal culture and Dreamtime stories. The peaceful waterhole attracts wildlife, including the occasional rock wallaby, offering a glimpse into this sacred land.

Next, we visit Standley Chasm (Angkerle Atwatye), a narrow gorge surrounded by towering rock walls that glow reds and oranges under the sun. The sight is awe-inspiring. We then head to Ellery Creek Big Hole (Udepata), a stunning waterhole nestled between cliffs. Here, you can swim in crystal-clear waters before enjoying a picnic lunch by Outback beauty.

We continue to the Ochre Pits, a culturally significant site where vibrant, mineral-rich cliffs have been used for thousands of years by Aboriginal people for ochre in art and ceremony. The striking colors of the cliffs make for a fascinating visit.

Finally, we explore Ormiston Gorge, known for its dramatic red rock walls and winding trails. This geological marvel offers stunning views and a chance to connect with nature. After a day of awe-inspiring sights and culture, we return to Alice Springs, reflecting on the beauty and stories of the West MacDonnell Ranges.
