Darwin Cenotaph

Darwin Cenotaph War Memorial

The Darwin Cenotaph commemorates Australian men and women who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The memorial was originally erected outside Government House in 1921 to commemorate those who had served in World War One. It was relocated to the Civic Centre in 1970 and then to its present location in Bicentennial Park in 1992.
