Take a tour of 40 community-based Aboriginal art centres without leaving Araluen, thanks to Desert Mob's efforts to showcase bright, diverse artworks.
Considered amongst the top three Aboriginal art events in the country, Desert Mob is a unique opportunity to experience what is currently happening in art centres throughout Central Australia. This event has steadily grown from an annual exhibition to now encompass a Symposium and MarketPlace which attracts visitors from all over the country. Working closely with Desart and its member art centres Desert Mob provides a rare opportunity to engage with Aboriginal artists from Central Australia and their vibrant art and culture.
Desert Mob is an initiative of the Araluen Arts Centre, in partnership with Desart.
The exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm on weekdays and 11am to 4pm on weekends.
