Sunrise is magical in the Red Centre and is well worth an early wake-up. Today you’ll be heading out to enjoy an outback picnic breakfast and a guided tour of Kata Tjuta. Take in the sights of these rich red domes and learn about the local Aboriginal Culture.

Explore Uluru by Sunset

Your 5-hour fully guided afternoon tour will begin with the Mala and Kuniya Walks. You’ll learn about the local Anangu people and hear some of their dreamtime stories. You’ll then be treated to appetisers and sparkling wine, while you take in the magic of an Uluru sunset.

Depart for Kings Canyon Resort

Your coach will take you to your next destination, Kings Canyon Resort. Situated 10 minutes away from Kings Canyon, Kings Canyon Resort is an oasis in the rugged landscape of Australia.

Unwind by a sensational sunset

Head to the Sunset Viewing Platform at Kings Canyon Resort and you’ll be in awe of the vibrant desert colours that light up the sky as the sun sets behind the Carmichael's Crag and the George Gill Range. Grab a refreshment from the pop-up bar and relax as a million stars slowly trickle into the desert sky.

Tackle the Rim Walk (optional extra)

The famous Rim Walk is best walked in the early morning. The six kilometre circuit will take you through soaring sandstone walls and reward you with unexpected delights like the lush Garden of Eden. Pack plenty of water and bring your camera as the views are sure to leave you speechless.

Arrive at Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters for your last day and enjoy some downtime by the pool during the day.

Peruse Aboriginal Art

Dive into the Aboriginal art collection at the Araluen Arts Centre and learn about the Contemporary Aboriginal art movement. Explore over 1100 artworks, including pieces by renowned watercolourist Albert Namatjira and his artistic response to the Central Australian landscape

Visit Anzac Hill at sunset

Head to Anzac Hill for a panoramic view of the town. The Anzac Hill Memorial was unveiled in 1934 and honours all who have served Australia during any war. This peaceful spot is the perfect place to take in the sights and enjoy one last outback sunset.
