Lingalonga Festival

Alice Springs Darwin Katherine Ulu r u Kings Canyon

You can linger as long as you like with no objections from the kids who will be flat-out enjoying the fun.

For a change of pace head to the picturesque town of Batchelor for its annual, popular Lingalonga Festival.
Relax under a shady tree and watch the world wander by, explore the markets, sit back and enjoy the entertainment or join in the fun activities throughout the day.
For the kids there are clowns and waterslides, and sports. Everyone will love the live music, food stalls, buskers, art and craft workshops and a traditional weaving workshop with 'Jeannie'.
The Lingalonga Festival is a not-for-profit community event that is alcohol-free. It starts early at 8am and continues until dark.

Batchelor is located 90 kilometres from Darwin and is the gateway to the waterfalls and landmarks of Litchfield National Park.
