Yia Nuka Aboriginal Cultural Experience, is an interactive Indigenous cultural tour, based 18kms West of Alice Springs, in Central Australia.

Visitors engage in an intimate conversation with Kathleen Buzzacott, an internationally renowned Aboriginal artist, designer, poet and entrepreneur, of Pitajantjatjara, Scottish and English heritage. Kathleen and her family invite to you to their home and art studio. Situated on Arrernte Native Title Homeland, this is a rare opportunity not usually available to the public without a permit. Join her as she reveals her life story with humour and honesty, sharing the intimacies of her family and their connection to each other. A hands-on workshop allows you to learn the art of seed bracelet making- an experience not to be missed. . You are invited to a morning of story telling by renowned local artist Kathleen Buzzacott. Listen as she shares the fascinating story of her life's journey that brought her back to Central Australia and her homelands, as a 10 year girl. Kathleen encourages questions and gladly caters her information to the specific interests of each group.. Create your very own piece of Central Australia. Under Kathleen's guidance, using local, native seeds, you'll craft your own traditionally inspired bracelet or key ring, as a lasting memento of your visit.. Enjoy a scrumptious morning tea, infused with native seeds and fruits from the 'Bush Tucker Queen', Rayleen Brown, of local Indigenous cafe, 'Kungkas Can Cook'.
