Katherine Outback Experience FlashCamp Glamping Experience
The multi-award winning Katherine Outback Experience (KOE) provides a unique window into life on the land.
In mid 2021, Katherine Outback Experience launched Glamping Accommodation at their beautiful property on the outskirts of Katherine. The Glamping compliments the Outback Show and Horse Riding Experiences perfectly, providing guests with a complete Farm Stay experience. Guests have the added option of the Homestead Dinners and Breakfasts that emulate the warm country hospitality of life on outback cattle stations, dining with staff and family.
A passion to share a piece of the outback was the foundation of KOE.
If you have ever wondered how a horse is broken-in or how a dog is trained to round-up cattle – then this is the place for you!
Multiple Golden Guitar winner Tom Curtain is the horse training, singing, guitar playing star of the show, along with his wife Annabel.
KOE won Tourism NT's best Tourist Attraction in 2018 and 2019 and best Visitor Experience in 2018. It then went onto win Bronze in the Tourist Attraction category at the Australian National Tourism Awards.
Although the Outback Show and Horse Riding operates from April to mid October in the NT, the Glamping is a shorter season operating from May to September.
