Lorella Springs Wilderness Park is part of a virtually untouched one million acre cattle station located 180 kilometres along the road between Borroloola and Rope Bar, 29 km north of the Savannah Way.
This huge, remote property offers a retreat of solitude and serenity with 25 kilometres of coastline, plus waterways, wetlands and swamps, rock formations and mountain ranges, chasms and gorges, numerous water holes and natural springs and a variety of wildlife.
The campground at the station homestead includes standard rooms, en-suite deluxe rooms and air-conditioned cabins, and acres of shady, grassy camp sites beside a natural hot water thermal spring. The historical homestead includes office and reception open everyday, meals under the stars, a licensed bar, a coffee shop, souvenirs and a shop with basic supplies, ice and ice creams.
With 1,000's of 4WD tracks we have it all at Lorella whether it be for swimming, bird watching, bush walking, fishing or simply relaxing by the hot springs.
Fishing opportunities include two fishing camps with boat ramps and numerous billabongs.
Scenic helicopter flights and heli fishing are also available.
Bookings are only required for cabins and rooms, NOT for campground.
