Patricia Rademaker, Director of Success Imaging and Larapinta Culture have teamed up to offer custom-made photography tour experiences in the Macdonell Ranges (Tjoritja) of Central Australia, just a stone’s throw from Alice Springs.
Patricia, an experienced professional photographer and teacher, has run photography studios for over 25 years.
Patricia’s fascination to discover the extraordinary beauty of Central Australia first drew her to Alice Springs in 2013 and three months later she moved there.
Larapinta Culture, a Northern Territory award winning tour service, has been conducting tours for over 14 years in The Red Centre. As bush camping professionals they specialize in fully catered for, tranquil, outback-camping experiences on Aboriginal Land. Your gracious Larapinta Culture hosts provide excellent meals, accommodation, transfers from your hotel and trips out to photography locations.
You will explore places off the beaten track where you will learn the ins and outs of your camera and photographic composition. You will also have the opportunity to practice your skills in stunning locations and experience the West Macdonell Ranges at its best through indigenous eyes.

Our custom made tour will take you to shoot at the magnificent Standley Chasm, Simpsons Gap, the Larapinta trail and to photograph bush sunsets and early morning light. There will be time for camera familiarization, technical and composition support and review of your images. There’s also the fun of companionable talks around the campfire, plus a few surprises thrown in.
Your travel, accommodation, pick up from your hotel and meals are provided by the services of Larapinta Culture. (Award winning Accredited Tourism Business Australia operators). You will be camping in the peace and quiet of the Australia bush on Aboriginal Land. Each person will have their own tent and swag and all delicious, healthy meals will be catered for. The aroma of fresh coffee will drift across as you rise in the morning.
