#EastArnhemLand has seriously raw natural beauty, but Bawaka, home to the Burarrawanga family, is a clear standout 🙌 A couple of hours’ drive south of #Nhulunbuy brings you to the small settlement on palm-tree-strewn, pearl-white beaches where they host a variety of cross-cultural activities run by aboriginal-owned company @Lirrwi. By day your local guide will provide you with an insight into Yolgnu homeland life including traditional spear fishing and basket weaving, while by night, you'll sit around the fire and listen to stories about kinship. The East Arnhem Land region is located on the far northeastern tip of the NT mainland, accessible via a short flight from #Darwin or the Central Arnhem Road. Penny and Derek look pretty pleased with their #Easter haul! 🐣 No trip to the NT is complete without a kangaroo experience, and you won’t find any better than the globally renowned Kangaroo Sanctuary in #AliceSprings. Made famous by the documentary series Kangaroo Dundee, and no. 1 on @tripadvisor's list of things to do in the unofficial outback capital, the Sanctuary is truly an inspiration. Join Brolga, the sanctuary's owner, as he looks after his huge mob of rescued kangaroos, while educating and encouraging visitors about caring for injured wildlife. The Sanctuary can only be visited on a pre-booked tour that runs from Tuesday to Friday. Get in quick - tours fill up fast!  Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @TheKangarooSanctuary.  #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

It's official... Gunlom Plunge Pool has re-opened for the dry season 🤩 Known as nature’s finest infinity pool, Gunlom is one of #Kakadu's most extraordinary spots to enjoy sweeping views over the national park. The billabong at the base of the falls is a popular attraction and was made famous by the movie #CrocodileDundee. However, a relatively steep climb to the top of the falls will get you to these less-visited emerald plunge pools where the swimming is just as good as the photo opportunities 🙌 If you're not keen on leaving straight away, there's a camping area onsite with solar-powered hot showers and BBQ facilities. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @jewelszee and @garry_norris! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #SeeKakadu

The long weekend is finally here and we're treating ourselves to a warm bath and some spectacular scenery 😍 After visiting @Longitude131, @julietkinsman declared the @luxurylodgesofaustralia retreat “one of the most special hotels in the world”, and with views like this, there’s no doubt about it. This unique resort in the heart of the Red Centre directly overlooks the iconic #Uluru, and the floor-to-ceiling windows here mean you get to make the most of this incredible sight, even in the bathroom! Sleep soundly by night in one of 16 luxurious tented pavilions, and explore @visitcentralaus by day on guided tours arranged by the resort. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, Juliet. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Nothing puts a spring in your step like the crystal clear waters of Bitter Springs! Rather inappropriately named for such a sweet spot, this sandy-bottomed lagoon has startlingly turquoise water 💦💙 Located an hour south of #Katherine in Elsey National Park, the natural spring-fed stream is wonderfully warm and surrounded by tropical woodlands. You'll float fancy-free a couple of hundred metres downstream before reaching a ladder at the end, where you can hop out and do it all over again! With goggles you might see freshwater turtles swimming through the reeds, and loads of fish darting about. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia @offgridmonkey 👍  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd

You'll think you’ve lost your marbles at this unique outback stop! The oddly shaped, gravity-defying rock formations of the #DevilsMarbles (#KarluKarlu) are unlike anything else 🙌 Follow the walkways and find out via the information boards how the granite formations have withstood the forces of wind and rain, unlike the surrounding sandstone. This 1,802 hectare reserve extends along both sides of the Stuart Highway and is roughly 400 kilometres north of #AliceSprings. Stay overnight at the nearby campground to see the large boulders change colour in the early morning light and setting sun. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @raffaelemerler! #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

Are you planning a trip to #Kakadu National Park? A Yellow Water Cruise is a definite must! If the spectacular sunsets don’t convince you alone, there is also an abundance of native wildlife. Take a cruise with @KakaduTourism and prepare yourself for an epic animal spotting adventure... you’ll see wild buffalo, crocodiles, wild horses and a bucket load of local bird species! Cruises operate from sunrise to sunset, winding their way through the distinct ecosystems of Yellow Water Billabong and tributaries of the South Alligator River. These spectacular wetlands are just minutes from Cooinda Lodge; a great base to explore the southern region of the park. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @emmaphotoaus.  #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd #DoKakadu

What a whooper of a view, or should we say Walpa of a view! You’ll feel instantly at peace when you enter the beautiful Walpa Gorge 🙌 These towering ochre-coloured domes make up #KataTjuta (#TheOlgas), a large rock formation spread over an area of more than 20 kilometres, roughly 30 kilometres from #Uluru. The 2.6 kilometre walk through Walpa Gorge is one of the shorter and easier trails, but if you're looking for a challenge, we suggest the Valley of the Winds walk which will take you on a circuit of a few of the domes. Towards the end of the day, head to the Kata Tjuta sunset viewing area and soak in the changing colours of the domes and the desert sky. Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @traveloutbackaustralia. #SeeAustralia #RedCentreNT

There's no need to go chasing waterfalls in #Litchfield National Park... they're everywhere! One of the most spectacular falls, Tolmer Falls, cascades over two high escarpments into a deep plunge pool. The bottom section of the falls is protected as its home to several colonies of rare Ghost Bats and Orange Horseshoe Bats. With the absence of swimming, the falls don't quite get the crowds but we like it all the more for that! Don't miss the 1.6km loop track for beautiful views of the valley 😍 Cheers for tagging #NTaustralia, @jackson.groves! #SeeAustralia #TourismTopEnd
