Imagine learning from the stories of local Indigenous people and being transformed by what you hear.
Aboriginal people have managed wildlife for a thousand generations. Their survival has depended on it. Our Aboriginal guided wildlife tour is an intimate and interactive day tour covering Darwin, Fogg Dam, Adelaide River and the Territory Wildlife Park.
You'll meet your guide at your Darwin hotel and be whisked away in a safe, comfortable, air conditioned four wheel drive where on the expansive wetlands of the Fogg Dam Nature Reserve you'll see the myriad waterbirds of the Top End and maybe a crocodile or turtle along the way. On the Adelaide River you'll be in awe as large crocodiles swim up to the boat using their powerful tails to jump for a feed, while raptors swoop close for theirs.
At the Didgeridoo Hut Art Gallery you'll see wildlife depicted in the art of talented local Aboriginal artists. It is here that you can invest in Aboriginal art from this bush gallery owned and operated by local Aboriginal people.
The Territory Wildlife Park give you the chance to get close up views of iconic Top End animals. You'll enhance the experience with genuine cultural insights about traditional uses and stories for plants and animals.
