Outback Quad Adventures: Cattle station Tours.


Alice Springs is cattle station country, come with us and kick up some red dust in the outback. Saddle up and join us on a guided tour of the oldest working cattle station in the Northern Territory as we take you on a tour of this 1500 sq km property. Quad bikes are our modern day workhorses, or if you prefer not to ride we have other options available including our thrillseeking Polaris 4 seat Razor Tour and a Four Wheel Drive Cattle Station tour.

While you are here you can experience some of the most spectacular views of the East MacDonnell Ranges and learn about an outback cattle station and a cattle muster. All tours are unique fun experiences. Families welcome.

The local wildlife can be seen at close proximity. Tours are suitable for ages 4 to 90 . Children under 12 years of age travel as a passenger on the tour guides quad bike. Outback Quad Adventures offer tours ranging from 2.5, 3.5 and 6 hours.
All bikes are automatic and easy to ride with no previous experience required.

    Four Wheel Drive Cattle Station Tour

    Come and experience the workings of the oldest working cattle station in the Northern Territory, providing sensational views of the East MacDonnell Ranges and the outback landscape.

    Travel in our very comfortable four wheel drive where we provide a more detailed explanation of the property. Morning / afternoon tea supplied.

    Visit our main cattle yards, a vineyard in the desert and various points of interest along the way before stopping to boil the billy and have a yarn over a cup of tea in the dry Todd River bed.

    The pastoral Lease of Undoolya Station was first granted in 1873.

    The property was bought by William Hayes in 1907 and the 5th generation of his direct descendants continue to run the working cattle station. The Garden Station is also owned and operated by the Hayes family with a total area of 3500sq km to explore.

    Outback Thrill Seeker Tour

    Hang on as our very experienced tour guide will take you on a high end adrenalin ride in our POLARIS 4 SEAT RAZOR. Cover a lot of the property FAST, as you bounce over rocky gullies, dry creek beds and climb steep hills for stunning views of the working Cattle Station.

    We stop several times to learn about the property and to take it all in.

    Quad Rush Tour

    Feel the breeze, the sense of space, and the sights and smells of nature, on a guided QUAD BIKE tour of the NTs oldest working cattle station, an experience you will surely treasure and enjoy.

    We visit cattle yards to learn about a cattle muster and have other stops along the way to take it all in. This 2.5 hour tour will leave you breathless.

    QUAD BIKES are our modern day workhorses, all bikes are fully automatic, no licence or previous experience required.

    We provide a safety briefing, riding instruction, safety helmet and bottled water.

    Two Station Tour

    Your QUAD BIKE TOUR begins in the early morning. On arrival at the cattle station a delicious stockmans breakfast is served at the homestead.

    Then, head off on a guided tour of the cattle station PLUS the cattle station next door called the Garden. Picture yourself in this vast and remote territory exploring the 3500 sq km properties. An exciting ride packed with fun and adventure.

    This 6 hour tour includes return transfers, breakfast and morning tea, safety briefing, riding instruction, safety helmet and bottled water.

    Undoolya Discovery Tour

    This QUAD BIKE TOUR tour takes your further onto the property than the Quad Rush Tour, and the terrain can be more challenging for some. We also take in the most spectacular views of the imposing East MacDonnell Ranges.
    We visit cattle yards to learn about a cattle muster and have other stops along the way to take it all in.

    Leave the crowds behind and join us on this 3.5 hour tour.
