Vous découvrirez et apprendrez l’histoire unique d’Alice Springs, son passé, son présent et son futur.Découvrez la signification de la relation entre la terre et la culture pour les Aborigènes.

Résidant à Alice Springs, Alison est retournée vivre sur ses terres ancestrales, au nord de la ville, pour maintenir et renforcer son lien avec son pays.

    Journey the Dreaming- Aboriginal Cultural Tour

    Join us for an experience of the natural and cultural environment of Alice Springs (Mparrntwe), taking in the Town Centre and the Todd River (Lhere Artepe) landscape.


    Discover the significance of connection between land and culture for Aboriginal people and learn of Aboriginal storylines. Alison will also explain the traditional skin names and kinship system of Central Australian Aboriginal culture.


    Available Monday to Friday.


    Tour departs at 8:30am (summer) or 9am (winter), from outside the Alice Springs Visitor Information Centre, in Todd Street Mall. It goes for approx. 1. 5hrs and is easy walking. The tour will finish in the gardens of the Mercure Alice Springs Resort(about 3km from the town centre).


    Maximum of 20 people so, bookings are essential.

    Journey the Dreaming Aboriginal Cultural Tour- Sunset at Olive Pink Botanical Gardens

    Join Alison Furber for this unique sunset experinece of the natural and spiritual meanings of Aboriginal people's connection to the Dreaming. Stroll with her through the stunning botanical gardens, created by Olive Pink, as she shares her knowledge and experience with you.


    Explore and identify the survival skills of the local Arrernte people, using bush foods and medicines and discover the connection between land and culture for Aboriginal people.


    Enjoy an included afternoon tea of freshly cooked damper (traditional Aussie bush bread) and locally produced Quandong (Native Peach) jam and cold drinks.


    Available every Tuesday and Thursday.


    Tours begin at 4pm at the Beantree Café, at Olive Pink Botanic Gardens on Tuncks Rd, Desert Springs, Alice Springs.


    Maximum of 15 people, so bookings are essential and are required at least 24hrs prior.
