    Aboriginal Cultural Art Tour

The Araluen Arts Centre has developed an insightful Aboriginal Cultural Art tour, to compliment the exhibition 'Origins to Innovations - Aboriginal Art in Central Australia'. The tour leads visitors through the exhibition and explains the history of Aboriginal art in the region, but also describes and explains concepts of the Dreaming (or Altyerre in Arrernte), being delivered by their new Arrernte Cultural Education Officer.

The tour, which also encompasses information on Sacred Sites on the cultural precinct, allows visitors to develop a deeper understanding of local Aboriginal culture and its relationship to art.
