For a hearty meal head to The Overlanders Steakhouse, a welcoming restaurant located in the building that was once the Alice Springs town hall in the heart of Hartley Street. The Overlanders Steakhouse has a long history of offering unique dining experiences. Decorated in cattle station décor and rugged outback style you can try beef, crocodile, camel, kangaroo or buffalo.

With an extensive a-la-carte menu and daily specials which includes fresh Australian seafood, Aussie favourites, vegetarian options and a children’s menu.

The Overlanders Steakhouse was established in 1971 to honour 'overlanders' - the men and women of the outback who were the people involved in the largest movements of cattle in the history of Australia. Also honoured are explorers, miners, settlers and bush workers. We welcome you and we can offer The Overlanders Room for Special Events / Functions which may include Corporate or Private Functions. Such as weddings celebrations.
