A talks program that feels like a warm family dinner.
Have a dinner with the producer of Hymns for the Witching Hour before the show.
Open House is the tradition of throwing open the doors in your home and welcoming everyone - far and wide - to visit over a shared meal. It is an opportunity to come together with family, friends and the broader community who happened to see the door ajar and find themselves a plate.
In 2023, Brown’s Mart is hosting Open House speaker sessions inspired by Malaysian hospitality. We are facilitating conversations between audiences and artists from our Performance Program, as they share a meal and delve deeper into the themes behind the works and processes of creating what we see on our stages. Audiences are encouraged to eat, listen, and ask questions – come hungry. A dinner will be included in the price of a ticket.
Production note: This event involves food, please let us know of any allergies when purchasing tickets.
Content: Conversations at Open House will involve themes of their associated show and may include difficult discussions.
This ticket does not include entry to the show.
