A masterful musical celebration of hope and unity for all people.
DSO is thrilled to collaborate again with The Djari Project, an award-winning compositional collaboration between Guwanbal Gurriwiwi and Netanela Mizrahi. Gurriwiwi is a leader and teacher of law, dance and manikay (sacred song) and the Gamurrung songman of the Galpu Clan, bringing his traditional knowledge and custodianship to the collaboration. Mizrahi is a celebrated musician and composer with a long association with DSO. Together with the full orchestra and choir, The Djari Project bring their unique and moving sound in a beautiful performance not to be missed.
Beethoven’s glorious Ninth Symphony is one of his most celebrated works. Featuring the famous ‘Ode to Joy’ final movement, this incredible symphony is a masterful musical celebration of hope and unity for all people.
