One of Australia's remotest and most fun Ukulele festivals, two days of Ukuleles, folk music and Bush Poetry.
Camp over night, or get the ferry from Darwin's Cullen Bay.
The festival is held underneath the Banyan trees at the Cox Country Club at beautiful Wagait Beach - come spend a day listening to music, drinking cold beer and chowing down on some good food in Australia's Tropical Bush. Darwin's favorite Free Festival.
Headliners this year include Ben Evolent, Leah Flanagan, Tracey Bunn, Shellie Morris and the Thin White Ukes. Admission is free, and camping is available, check the website to pre-book a spot.
Quote from Licensing NT "Anyone who has been fortunate enough to attend one of the Club’s music nights and hear a top class performance from a stage nestled in to the side of a majestic Banyan tree will attest to this being one of the best experiences the Top End can provide"
Kids activities and cultural workshops, market stalls and food kiosks. Attendees arriving by Sealink Ferry to Mandorah Jetty will have the option of a return shuttle bus to the festival site.
