Darwin favourite Max Fredericks is well-known for his solo and band performances around town.
Arguably the busiest musician in Darwin, he regularly plays up to 10 shows a week. With a repertoire that spans across six decades his music hits all the right spots. Now, in a venture that culminates years of songwriting, Max is ready to release his own album - One More Step.
A religious Beatles fan with an infectious personality, Max has performed at the Mathew Street Festival in Liverpool (now known as the Liverpool Music Festival) and supported some heavy-hitters over the years, including Powderfinger, Jet, You Am I, Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Cold Chisel, Screaming Jets, The Violent Femmes, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Art v Science, Simple Plan and most recently, here on The Playhouse stage - Tex Perkins and Matt Walker.
Now, it’s time for Darwin to support Max as he launches his new material, promising a very diverse sound.
