Celebrate International Women’s Day with Arafura Music Collective on Sunday 7th March, for our performance “In her Footsteps – the chamber music of women composers”.
We honour the innovation, creativity and sheer determination of women composers. You will be delighted, engaged, and moved by the rich intimacy of chamber music composed by women across time, continent and genre, including works by NT based composers Cathy Applegate, Nora Lewis and Netanela Mizrahi.
Join us in the beautiful surrounds of the George Brown Botanical Gardens for an extraordinary concert, with a wonderful mix of instrumental and vocal ensembles. From ethereal to downright quirky, this music is diverse, clever, and beautiful.
