Travel through the West MacDonnell Ranges then join your guide for a drive around the base of Uluru and walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. View Aboriginal rock art and learn about the area as your Driver Guide points out native flora and fauna and explains the history of Uluru.
Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre then as the sun sets, you’ll witness to the many shades of colour for which Uluru is famous. Continue to our exclusive barbecue venue. Dine on a variety meats and salads and a tasty dessert accompanied by a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. There's even time for stargazing (conditions permitting).
Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set Uluru alight. Travel to the mystical domes of Kata Tjuta arriving at Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations.
This morning join a guided climb to the rim of Kings Canyon or, you may wish to take an easier, shorter walk to explore the boulder strewn creek bed.
