Gurrambalk Accommodation

Gurrambalk Accommodation is located in the remote Yolngu community of Gapuwiyak in NE Arnhemland, NT.

They offer 5 individual air-conditioned container units: 2 with a double bed, kitchenette and ensuite, and 3 with a king-single bed, bar fridge desk and ensuite. Guests also have access to a shared laundry, air-conditioned equipped kitchen and small common room, large undercover area with fans and outdoor furniture, high fenced yard with lockable gates and off-street parking.

If needed, they can offer an additional 4 units of 'overflow accommodation'. Each unit has a single bed, ensuite and bar fridge. There is a shared air-conditioned equipped kitchen/dining space, shared undercover area with fans and outdoor furniture, high fenced yard with lockable gates and off-street parking.

Gurrambalk Accommodation is simple, clean, secure and comfortable accommodation with friendly staff. They are happy to answer questions, provide information about Gapuwiyak and homelands, and support your engagement with community members. They provide linen and towels in all our units, which are serviced at the end of your stay. Guests need to provide their own food.

Gapuwiyak has a Shire office, general store, clinic, police station, school and a wonderful art centre with espresso coffee. Fly Tiwi provides a flight on weekdays to and from Darwin. Gapuwiyak is 25 km off the Central Arnhem Road. A Northern Land Council permit is required to visit Gapuwiyak.
