Young Fiddlesticks

A boutique concert with QVLN and Young Fiddlesticks, a specially created Desert Song Festival workshop ensemble under the guidance of QVLN tutored by Karen Jackson.

The Desert Song Festival is an annual showcase of cultural diversity and artistic brilliance in Central Australia.

The festival unites singers, musicians and audiences, from Alice Springs and visitors to the region, over 10 glorious days (September 6-15).

Artists from this vibrant, multi-cultural community, in the heart of Australia, will come together to present a diverse program of events, that reveal incredible musical talent.

Using staged, iconic heritage venues across town and the majestic, ancient landscapes of Central Australia as a backdrop, the festival gives visitors and locals an unforgettable experience.

The program provides a smorgasbord of free community events and quality ticketed performances. Book early online or in person at the Alice Springs Visitor Information Centre, on the corner of Todd Street Mall & Parsons Street.
