Hear from Paul Ah Chee, Janet Turner, Patricia Ansell Dodson and Benedict Stevens as a part of the talks program at Parrtjima 2023.
Mparntwe is the Arrernte name for Alice Springs. The town is considered the gateway to the stunning Red Centre and is known for world-acclaimed art and cultural tourism experiences. The proud Arrernte traditional custodians are the ancient stewards of the three estates of Mparntwe, Irlpme and Antulye, and hold a collective cultural wisdom that you cannot encounter anywhere else in the world.
Join our panel of local speakers and members of the Parrtjima Festival Reference Group as they collectively look at the increasing rise of stories of anti-social behaviour. It’s a complex and multi layered issue and needs more than a few bandages to solve.
Entry to talks will be on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure you arrive early.
