Hear from Corey Tutt as a part of the talks program at Parrtjima 2023.
Have you ever wondered what the stars can tell us? Well, Kamilaroi man Corey Tutt OAM will remind us of the first scientists and innovators where land management, astronomy and science were intertwined with spirituality.
Founder of DeadlyScience, Corey’s desire to ensure everyone knows about science has seen him deliver more than 25,000 books and other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) resources, including telescopes, to over 110 communities around Australia.
The personal impact of the loss of a close friend to suicide, while working as an alpaca shearer, was the catalyst for Corey to remember his love of science and the fulfilment knowledge brings. You will never think about science as just people in lab coats ever again.
Entry to talks will be on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure you arrive early.
