After the Game: Sports Talk with Rulla Kelly-Mansell

Parrtjima | Talks | After the Game: In Conversation with Rulla Kelly-Mansell

Hear from Rulla Kelly-Mansell as a part of the talks program at Parrtjima 2023.

The highs, the lows, the retirement or hiatus and then what? A Tulampanga Kooparoona Niara Pakana man, Rulla Kelly-Mansell was playing footy for the Glenelg Tigers when at 27 his sporting career was interrupted with a Stage 2 cancer diagnosis. It was a long road back to recovery for Rulla, who still plays footy and began filming Cooking on Country for ABC TV. A radio presenter with ABC Adelaide, Rulla runs the charity, Make Runs Maxi, and is a musician with Marlon and Rulla, the band he co-founded with former AFL player Marlon Motlop. Join us as we hear about the game, football culture and the ongoing trials and tribulations.

Entry to talks will be on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure you arrive early.
