Campfire Stories

Throughout the ages and across different cultures, people have gathered around campfires to listen and share stories that impart culture and wisdom.

In an experience that’s both timeless and quintessentially Alice Springs, settle around the fire under a radiant desert sky to hear stories of all kinds – from ancient to new, from verse novels to soundscapes – exploring the festival theme of mwantye-le awaye | listen deeply.

Bring a blanket or a swag to keep warm! There will be chairs and mats available. Bar open. Dinner available.

Featuring: Kathleen Kemarre Wallace and Judith Lovell, Chris Flynn, Yumna Kassab, Leni Shilton, Christopher Raja, Rod Moss and Lee Frank (music), Kelly Lee Hickey, and artists from NPY Women’s Council Uti Kulintjaku Watiku (men's) group and screening of works featuring artists from Incite Arts: stArts with D Ensemble. Full lineup to be announced online.
