A coming together of community and culture, the inaugural Malandari Festival is a community re-imagining of Artback NT's previous festival known as DanceSite.

Join us back in Borroloola to kick up dust and celebrate the histories, culture and stories present in traditional dance across the Top End and Gulf Region. Malandari Festival will showcase two nights of traditional dance from local Yanyuwa, Mara, Garrwa, Gurdanji and Wandangula dancers, with visiting groups from across the Gulf Region and beyond also gathering to share their ceremonies.

Workshops, markets and children's activities will be running as part of the Malandari Festival.

Come celebrate dance and culture with us on Yanyuwa country!
