The remnant wall of the No. 6 Oil Tank is a semi-circular reinforced concrete shell at the base of Stokes Hill. It now comprises roughly a third of the original area of the No.6 Oil tank. It was the original concrete splinter-proof wall built to protect the No.6 Oil Tank in 1942 and was constructed from steel reinforced beach sand concrete. The wall is approximately 600mm in thickness.
