The Mothers’ Day Saltwater Craft Fair is a very special event in the Tactile Arts calendar, it has become well loved by Darwin locals for the opportunity to spend some quality time with their mums, perusing the beautiful stalls and to select a unique gift from a local artist that she will love.

This year the Mothers’ Day Craft Fair is being held on the 7 May. This ensures that people who can’t make it to the Craft Fair on the actual Mothers’ Day - May 14 - have the opportunity to buy her something special in advance.

Over sixty of the Territory’s best artisans and craftspeople will be selling their wares on the day with a variety of products on offer including; glass, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, homewares, clothing, paintings, prints, garden sculpture, macramé, candles and more. All products are authentic and handmade locally.

Families and friends can make the most of the day at the Darwin Waterfront with plenty of places to enjoy breakfast or lunch, or simply bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the live music by the Recreation Lagoon.
